A second album from the series "Inspired by Rita D'Arcangelo" presenting the Berlin-based Italian flute Maestra playing pieces written exclusively for her by the Three Essential Elements - an international collective of wonderful composers, led by the EMMY laureate Thomas Bramel. The CD comes with a booklet in English. Rita D'Arcangelo shares with us her thoughts on the project:
"A release of a new CD is always a highlight of a musician’s life, which is especially true in case of this particular recording due to its extraordinary character and uniqueness.
When a good friend of mine, Vasco Pereira, invited me to join the Three Essential Elements project, it seemed to be an amazing opportunity to create new music and artistic projects.
It has been a privilege for me to partner with the Three Essential Elements (ThrEE) for some time now; the idea and the goal of bringing new music to the world appeals to me as a performer and I feel it is a great responsibility and joy."
