small labels - GREAT MUSIC
This website is the home of QBK smallGREATmusic company based in Szczecin, Poland. We are open to other small labels, as JB Records (based in Wrocław, Poland). We`re getting ready to expand, but first we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin! :-)
The executive producer of most of the recordings for QBK is Jakub Kościuszko, a Polish guitarist and Doctor of Musical Arts.
The head of the JB Records company is Jan Jakub Bokun, a famous clarinet virtuoso, so the focus on wind instruments at JBR is no surprise.
Both companies started just for the sake of releasing one CD, but soon listeners and musicians noticed the high quality, good prices and great design standing behind the very modest entrepreneurs. Great reviews followed, and here we are - with more than 50 titles in both labels!
